Moss agate takes its name from the inclusions trapped within it, fine, branching filaments of mineral that spread through the stone like lichen on rock, or roots beneath soil, or frost across glass. Each one grows differently, and no two pieces ever contain the same internal landscape.

This variety comes in a deep, smoky purple, unusual, striking and entirely natural, sourced from India where the mineral conditions produce this particular coloration. The palmstone form is deliberate: a shape designed to sit in the hand, smooth and weighted, the kind of object you reach for when you need something to hold onto.
