Dalmatian Jasper Cube

Dalmatian jasper is impossible to look at without something lightening. The cream base scattered with black and brown spots, unmistakably playful, immediately recognisable, has a quality that most stones simply don't possess. It is said to encourage joy, loyalty and the kind of groundedness that doesn't feel heavy. A stone that reminds you not to take things too seriously. Which is, when you think about it, a fairly remarkable thing for a piece of rock to do.

Cut into a cube, it becomes something slightly different, a tactile, geometric object as happy on a desk as it is in a collection. The flat faces catch the light cleanly and let the spotting show in full. Pick it up and it has a satisfying solidity to it. Set it down and it holds its corner of a shelf with quiet confidence.

Each cube is polished and sold individually, approximately 2-2.5cm. The distribution of spots varies from piece to piece, no two are identical.
