Black Obsidian Raw Stone

Black obsidian is one of the most powerful protective stones known. Formed from volcanic lava that cooled too quickly to crystallise, it carries the raw energy of the earth's interior, fierce, honest and completely uncompromising. It is said to cut through illusion, reveal what is true and shield its keeper from negative energy with an intensity that softer stones simply cannot match.

In its raw form, black obsidian is extraordinary - its glassy, jet black surface catching the light like dark water, the natural fractures and edges of the stone visible and unaltered.
